For your consideration, we present this Songbird Box Automaton. Its ornate ormolu box is adorned with a beautiful porcelain cartouche. The movement has been professionally inspected by an expert in the field and works perfectly. This small box is quite heavy as it contains a complex movement. Its intricate mechanism produces the following effects: after winding it and moving the latch, its magic begins. First, the lid opens, the feathered bird emerges and begins to spin around. The bird sings while flapping its wings and opening and closing its beak. Then it lies back and the lid closes. It's amazing that all this movement can occur in such a small space.
